My husband's family lives in Northeastern Arkansas. In January 2009 they were without electricity for 8 days. My husband's brother sent us these and many more pictures of that ice storm. I thought you might like to see what he sent us. Brrrrrr!
My parents live in southwest Missouri, about 90 miles from the Arkansas line. They had some ice, but not as bad as others - and fortunately, without the power outage, too.
We don't miss the ice storms at all. I'm glad your kin are okay.

Is there anything else that is equally devistating and beautiful as an ice storm is?
Truly unimaginable unless you see the photos.
Deedee I find this very interesting because I am from Northeastern AR. My family too still lives there and were also affected by this ice storm.
Hi Dee Dee. I've been busy for past several days. Having some computer glitches. It was a bad storm, and some are still without power.
