I looked up all the words that start with X. This word seemed to fit PhoeniX "to an X" - being dry and hot .... yep, that's how it is here. I would think the easiest job in PhoeniX would be a weatherperson. "And how is the weather today?" Dry and Hot! We are Xerothermic!
Check out the other X's on Monday at:http://unglazed.blogspot.com/

I would say that's a perfect description! Great X word. X was pretty hard for me this week. Hope you are doing well and have a great week.
That's a great word! It does make one wonder why you'd even need a weather forecast ... heh.
Yep, the perfect word! Your area is one of the most xerothermic in the US. Good thing for air conditioning!
I think you are right...dry and hot covers most of the days in Phoenix!!!
That is so awesome. I learned a new word and the meaning. Well done.
Good one! Sounds like it fits your area to a T. (Or should I say X?)
HA! Xcellent!
Happy Monday to you DeeDee, have a xerothermic day.
i looked up x words, too. but when i couldn't pronounce any of them i gave up!
i always think being a weatherman here in SWFL would be easy, too. hot, hot hot, with a chance of afternoon thundershowers!
Come to Colorado. It's been wet and cloudy and cool. Not our normal summer pattern.
Sounds like a great "x" word for your area Deedee.
But... we always hear it's a dry heat! Like that makes it super comfortable or something!
So, my logic would say that Xerothermic = Menopause! LOL! Just kidding! Good to be back and catching up on my blog peeps!
