L is for Leisure World

L is for Leisure World. My parents, when they decided to retire, built their home here in 1986. It's a large gated and guarded community for people over 55. There are beautiful homes along the golf course. I always wondered where I would live when I retired. (After moving 42 plus times in my life, it had always crossed my mind where I would finally "land" up.)
I've been retired three years now. It was a big surprise that I decided to live here - not far from where my parents had retired.
Life is amazing with all it's "twists" and "turns" ......

Hope your day is great.
By the way, I'm L for late for my Monday post, again :(

So glad to hear from you DeeDee! I know what you mean about dogs and pillows.. and blankets...shall I go on? All our pillows and throws have to stay out of reach!

I'm also glad to hear Si has pulled thru. Poor thing, sounds like something got him pretty bad. I hope he continues to heal.

Love your little mail carrier! I wanted to find a bowler hat to go with Sunny's tie. (I think that's what they're called - a little round hat like Laurel and Hardy wore) Haven't found one yet though. Big dogs are hard to dress!

I wonder how many people actually follow the path they planned out? I know I didn't! We'll just have to bloom where we are planted!
Hugs,
Dawn

As far as I can tell, DeeDee, nothing turns out like we plan anyway... que sera...

The trick is... to be content with whatever circumstance life presents us... Some are easier than others... =)

So will you live in a gated community?
Do you really like it in AZ best, or is it just easiest to stay there.
