I like FREE :)

We've all heard of yard sales, ebay, craigslist, dumpster diving (no I never done that), out in the alley by the trash can....... It's my hubby's day off and he is working of course (that what you do when you are a mailman). He calls me, "Dear, get in the truck and come over here." "What's going on?" I reply. "This house I'm delivering mail to has shutters by their front gate with a FREE sign on them," he says. "I'll be right there!"....said by me rushing out the door.
I like FREE and especially when it's something I can use. The smaller ones will be perfect when I clean them up. I'll put those in the kitchen. The tall door ones :::smiling::: I'll connect the three doors together to make them into a "screen." I'll put thoses in the BBQ area. Perfect! And FREE!
I know, I know.... you'll want pictures huh?

Free is good. I guess you just have to keep your eyes open for things.

Wow nice shutters, and they were free? I like your idea to build a screen. Great find!

you are so clever with what you are going to do with those shutters; can't wait to see the pictures

I like when people put things out like this for others to use rather than just throw it away; so glad your hubby was in the right area at the right time

I love those kind of finds. When we were visiting our friends on Long Island this last Dec. I had fun seeing all the good trash out by the street on pickup day. My friend would die if I picked up some... and how would I get it home anyway?
