I miss you!

It lightning and thundered and rained the night before - yesterday morning it was raining. I love rain! It is such a rare and special occasion for it to rain. As the kids were packing their things in their mom's car yesterday morning they said..."Why did it wait to rain when we are leaving?"
"Because, the rain lets you know how much I will miss you!"

Aww... that is just about the cutest! Strange weather patterns this year. I'm fascinated by weather and this year is bizarre.

It's all due to global warming, you know (/snark).

I'm sure the kids miss you too. We've been teased with thunder and lightning, but no rain at our house since July 3rd.

I know you will miss their company.

They will have a lot of stories to share with their friends when they get back home.

I just got caught up. For some reason your blog does not come to the top when it is updated, sooo, I forget to go look at it. Sorry. What a hard day having your grands leave. Sounds like it was a wonderful time.
I just read the post on patience. What a story you have. We would all be amazed to hear the things our friends have to say. I am so glad you got to reunite with your daughter. My mom was a single mom and had rough times. My brother was missing for years and that was crazy. He had a lot of problems and still does from time to time. Keep busy this week to keep your mind off of missing them (o:
