did acid today!

Today they acid washed the pebbletec. Before they did that though, they pulled the wires for the light. They connected the wires to the light but set it up on the Kool-deck. That is so - when they pour the acid on the pool it does not get into the light. Then they put the acid into a water can with a little bit of water - then poured it around the edge of the pool. The other worker had the water hose and sprayed it down. They did the whole pool that way.

Then one worker took a power washer and sprayed the pool again. The other put in the jets.

When that was done they put in my light :) !

The last thing they put in was the new drain. My pool is now filling. I'm not excited to see my water bill. The pool will fill today and tomorrow. Friday they put in the chemicals and start up the pump. Yesterday it was 102 here in Phoenix. The record was 103. Good Golly ... I can't wait until we can use the pool. Thanks for following along on the pool remodel. Posted by Picasa

I am just amazed at all that goes into the pool renovation. I was telling a friend and my husband about your pool redo, friend just got a new filter and pump? (I am not familiar with all this pool stuff so I don't know if I am remembering correctly) His new something he has is powerful, when he said that I told him of you losing your tiles, they thought I was crazy. But I remember that right didn't I?

Have a good swim when it is all done! The only thing around here with a temp. that high is the oven! Well and my bath when I'm done freezing! Actually until today we were pretty warm for a few days, a whopping 72!! woohoo!

At that temp...I hope you can jump in soon. It will be at least Memorial Day , or maybe later, that you could get in an outdoor pool around here. Enjoy.

Ugh, I can't believe how hot it is there. Hope you get to enjoy that beautiful pool soon.

It looks like it'll be a great relief in that heat - enjoy!

When the temp was over 100 back in the Midwest, we pretty much stayed indoors, and thanked God for A/C!

Lanny's 72 is about as warm as we ever get, even in August, up here.

But the pics look great - be sure to post one of the first person jumping in.

Oh my goodness with those temps I'd be standing on the side just waiting for the pool to fill.

Woo Hoo! Our neighbors fill ours. It's hilarious. Five hoses all running into our back yard at once:)
