End of Day Two

It is the end of day two ::: wiping brow::: The pavers are down - the planter stones are in - sprinkler system is working - cleaned up driveway! When my husband gets another day off, he'll get a truck load of dirt. Then we'll take a visit to the nursery. My neighbor (who has his whole yard in roses) walked down the street to see what we were doing this time. I was thinking roses in these planters but..... the neighbor said it was too late. I need to have roses planted by October. We'll see what the nursery has.

I can't believe how quickly you and your husband put those pavers and planters in! They look so nice and it will be fun to plant things.

To answer your question - the mountain laurel has very little scent. The native azaleas scent the entire are but not the mountain laurel.

Why can't you plant roses now? Is it too hot there already.

Everything looks great. Your honey did a great job.
