Scorpions, Snakes, Coyotes.... and Alligators?

Here in Arizona we have some unique "critters" that the other states don't have. You expect to find scorpions, snakes, tarantulas, wild boars, coyotes, geckos, ...... but the other day I found an alligator. So of course, I took a picture of it. This worries me, though, because it seems to like houses with grass in the front yard. And my house is the NEXT house from this house that has grass. Posted by Picasa

That is terrific. I had no idea alligators hung out in Arizona! I wonder if they would hang out by a pond in the Pacific Northwest!

I could have a flock (what is a group of gators) of them around our ponds! I found a concrete mold for thirty-four dollars! I am so putting this on my must-have-so-bad-it-is-a-need list! Thanks for the post!!!!

At least you have grass! We still have snow on the ground - and got 3inches more, overnight. Enjoy the greenery; we won't see anything green for another 4 to 6 weeks.

Ha ha, that's funny! Some of our lizards remind me of little alligators. Imagine if we really had critters of that size running around here!

Neat looking alligator! If he visits your yard I bet he'll be harmless.

I thought I was in the wrong place...till I saw the familiar cat. It looks like mine. I love the alligator on the grass.
