Finch Sock

Diane C. of http://www.sabinocanyonblog.blogspot.com/ recently posted about these Finch Socks. I found it at Target. By the way, her blog is all about Sabino Canyon in Tucson, Arizona. I love visiting her blog!
So I put the Finch Sock up by my office window. There usually 6 birds on the sock and several "waiting" for their turns. I got a picture of two but the birds kept flying away because......

No, not because of Si.......

Because Bandit was barking at (she has that loud rotty bark) .....

Fluffy! My hubby just came home with the first load of planter stones. He drop off this truck and took my truck to pick up the second load. Fluffy, the neighborhood cat came to check things out.

Lots of activity going on in your home.
I saw those too. I thought: "finch sock? Why would a finch wear a sock?"

So glad you're enjoying the finch feeder. Looks like you have a lot of activity around your place with all the animals and latest stonework project getting started.

I'd never heard of a Finch Sock. My father feeds the birds at his business and at home. There are some fat birds in my hometown.

Do you think you could pretend not to hear the arrival of the heavy back breaking planter stones over Bandits barking and stay held up in your office?

Finches are so much fun to feed! I've never tried a finch sock yet but now I'll have to.
